Our favorite time of year is here: the annual babaà giveaway! For more than a decade, we’ve been huge fans of the woman-owned Madrid-based knitwear line. Here are a few favorites, plus a discount code…
The babaà team is passionate about sustainable clothing, and designs their soft, textured knits with longevity in mind. Each piece is crafted in Spain with 100% natural materials, spun by local artisans.
They take great care fine-tuning their colors, and the results are stunning and timeless. I’ve worn this bright green sweater for years, and I love daydreaming about passing it down to my niece or a future grandchild (!) who will love it as much as I do.
The cuts are beautiful and recognizable. I love their cotton pieces, like this soft, navy crewneck. This wool sweater is a long-time favorite of mine — the slightly wide neck gives it such a cool silhouette. This chunky cardigan is another outfit workhorse.
Their children’s clothes are also wonderful. My boys have worn babaà sweaters since they were toddlers (I still have their tiny ones tucked away for later!). They hold up through years of play, and get softer with every wear.

Jumper No. 72 in Husk is the one I keep coming back to. The silhouette feels generous, but still modern and quietly chic in a way that makes it easy to live in. I can already picture it during the summer, wrapped around me while I work at my desk with the AC running just a little too cold. And in the fall and winter, layered over soft cottons for that perfect balance of warmth and ease. I wear knits year-round because they bring a sense of calm and comfort that goes beyond clothing. There’s something grounding about them, a soft steadiness I can carry with me throughout the day. I’ve gifted myself two Babaà pieces already, and they’ve become staples I truly cherish. Honestly everything is gorgeous so it’s hard to choose…. but cardigan no3 in summer flame is a particularly fun piece! I’m also in love with the gorgeous color and dense rib of cardigan no18 in puddle.
